# Studio Antipodes pricing

> Certain kinds of work follow a predictable enough structure that we can state what they involve, how long they take, and what they require to begin — from a focused two-week program to a defined engagement to an ongoing retainer. Larger and more complex work continues to be scoped individually.

A clearer view of scope, duration and investment.

## Focused programs
- **Assessment** (One week, $6,500): A short, senior read of an existing site, product, or brand system — the least expensive way to put Antipodes on a problem you can feel but not yet name.
- **Landing Page Sprint** (1–2 weeks, From $9,500): A single, highly considered page rather than a full site — for companies who need something live quickly without lowering the bar on craft.
- **Website Refinement** (2–3 weeks, From $16,000): A conversion-focused pass on the pages that matter most — heuristic review, redesign, and implementation, without touching what already works.
- **Design System Tune-Up** (2–3 weeks, From $14,000): A consolidation, not a rebuild — we audit what exists, resolve the inconsistencies, and leave your team with core components and documentation they will keep using.

## Defined engagements
- **Foundations** (2–4 weeks, From $24,000): A strategy-led engagement for founders and teams who have a strong idea that has not yet been translated into a system. Foundations settles the positioning, the narrative, and the creative direction before any of it is drawn.
- **Identity** (4–8 weeks, From $45,000): For new companies, and for established ones entering a chapter their current identity cannot carry. Identity turns a settled strategy into a coherent system — typographic, chromatic, verbal, and applied — rather than a logo and a colour palette.
- **Digital** (6–12 weeks, From $75,000): A new marketing site, a full redesign, or a digital repositioning — designed and engineered by the same studio, in one engagement. Investment scales with the number of templates, the depth of content work, and the technical requirements.

## Retainers
- **Advisory** (From $9,000 / month): For founders and small teams who need senior product and design judgement on tap, without ongoing execution capacity. We review work in progress — yours or another vendor's — and hold a monthly strategy session; we are not the ones producing the deliverables.
- **Embedded** (From $38,000 / month): For active product and engineering teams who need continuous senior design and development capacity alongside their own. A weekly working session, async support through a shared channel, and priority scheduling ahead of new project enquiries.
- **Partner** (From $65,000 / month): Antipodes acting as an extension of your internal product team — in the planning and roadmap conversations, not just executing what comes out of them. Direct access to studio leadership, with design and engineering sitting inside your own sprints.

## Questions
### Are the investments shown fixed?

Assessment is fixed, as are most Add-Ons. Everything else is a starting point — the figure that kind of work requires at its clearest and most contained. Final investment is confirmed in a written proposal after we understand the project.

### What determines the final investment?

Scope and complexity, primarily: the number of templates or screens, how much research and content work is required, technical requirements and integrations, the depth of motion, and how much engineering sits inside the engagement. Compressed timelines also raise it, because they consume more of the studio at once.

### Can I start with something smaller?

That is what the Focused Programs above are for — a defined, lower-commitment way to work with the studio before a larger engagement makes sense. Most are designed to lead somewhere, and the fee is often credited toward what comes next.

### How are Add-Ons priced?

Most carry a fixed fee or a starting figure, shown beside each one. They attach to an active program, engagement, or retainer rather than standing alone — if nothing is underway, the work they describe is usually part of a defined engagement instead.

### What happens after I enquire?

We read every enquiry ourselves and reply within two business days, either with a conversation or with an honest note that we are not the right studio for it. If we speak, you receive a written engagement proposal within a week.

### How does payment work?

Engagements are invoiced in stages tied to the schedule of work rather than to hours. The specific terms are set out in the engagement proposal before anything is signed.

### Do you work with early-stage companies?

Regularly — the Focused Programs and Foundations exist largely for them. What matters is not the stage but whether the ambition and the investment are in the same range.

### Can you design and build the project?

Yes, and we prefer to. Engineering sits inside Digital, Product, and every retainer tier from the first week rather than receiving a finished design at the end of one.

### How is a retainer different from an engagement above?

The engagements above are shaped like projects: a defined scope with a start and an end. A retainer is shaped like a team — a fixed share of the studio's time, reserved every month and drawn down across whatever design, product, or engineering work that month actually needs, rather than committed to one deliverable in advance.

### What if my project does not match one of these engagements?

Then it is one of the ones we scope individually, which is true of most of our work. The programs and engagements on this page are the repeatable shapes, not the boundary of what the studio does.

### Do you work internationally?

Yes. The studio is in Los Angeles and works across North America and Europe, with a standing overlap window for teams in Central European time.
